Building the Bible in 3D · Holy Polygons
Credits and terms
Episodes from the King James Bible, built in 3D: each a narrated film on YouTube, and a scene you can explore for yourself.
Scripture
Every quotation is from the King James Version (the Authorized Version of 1611), quoted word for word. The King James Version is in the public domain in most countries; in the United Kingdom the rights in it are vested in the Crown (Crown copyright).
What you see
The scenes are built to the measures and words Scripture gives. Where Scripture is silent (the shape of a thing, the colour of a cloth, the lie of the land, how people looked) what you see is an artist’s reading, and each episode labels it as interpretation, not Scripture. No figure is given a face. God is never depicted. No killing is shown.

Narration
The voice is the Holy Polygons Narrator, generated with Fish Audio.
Software and type
The scenes are drawn with three.js (r186), © 2010–2026 three.js authors, used under the MIT licence. The type is EB Garamond and IM Fell English (the Fell Types, revived by Igino Marini), from Google Fonts, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Privacy
This site sets no cookies and has no tracking. Your browser remembers only whether you turned the sound off and which light you chose for the book (candlelight or morning). The type is loaded from Google Fonts. A film is played through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and only once you press Watch; YouTube’s own terms then apply to the player.
